Universitas Islam Lamongan is the first university in Lamongan City. Until the end of 2006, the university has 7 faculties for graduate study programs (S1), including the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Fisheries, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics.
