The Banff Canmore Community Foundation believes that communities thrive when people are valued and feel like they ‘belong’. Community foundations are in a unique position of trust and possibility. We sit at the intersection of philanthropy and impact, where those who wish to support connect those needing support. We are a catalyst, a connector, and a believer in the power of inclusion. By working with our philanthropic partners (including our donors, volunteers and local front line service agencies), we help people, programs and priorities find project funding. Our signature grants program annually supports the Bow Valley community in the areas of: Arts, Education, Environment, Health, Heritage, Recreation and Social Services. The foundation scholarship programs help individuals move in the direction of their dreams. Our currency is based in philanthropy and our greatest assets are the people who understand the power of community investment. We serve the Bow Valley, from Lake Louise through Banff and Canmore and on to Exshaw, Dead Man's Flats, Kananaskis and the Stoney Nakoda First Nation.
