Southern Filter Media (“SFM”) has been an industry-leading supplier of filter bags to the air pollution control (APC) industry since 1973. SFM designs and produces filter bags for all styles of baghouse systems – including Pulse Jet, Reverse Air, and Shaker – in our state-of-the-art production facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. SFM proudly joined the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group in late 2014. The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group manufactures filter bags in a wide variety of fabrics – including Aramid, PPS, Fiberglass, Polyester (woven, felt and knit), and Polypropylene – and in a variety of diameters and configurations to meet our customers’ diverse baghouse requirements. The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group also offers pleated filtration bags, cartridge filters, cages, venturis, clamps, couplings, spring assemblies, hanger systems, valves, and valve repair kits, differential pressure gauges, timer boards, leak detection powder & inspection lights, precoat, and more. The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group offers complimentary phone consultations and visual inspections of used filter bags; laboratory analysis of used filter bags; complete filter bag changeout, maintenance and inspection services; and on-site dust collector troubleshooting services.
