Tommy Tucker Realty Co. was founded in 1958 by I.L. (Tommy) Tucker, who entered the profession in 1955. Tucker Realty has been located at our present business location, since 1969. Our founder Tommy Tucker (1927-2014) was a past local board and State president and served as regional vice president with the National Association of Realtors. Tommy Tucker served 31 years on the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission and one of the initial members. Tommy served on the first minimum housing standards boards for the City of Cedar Rapids. Robin Tucker served on Home Rule Charter Commission for the City of Cedar Rapids in 2004-05. Robin served on the Charter Review Commission in 2011 and is a present Commissioner on the Civil Rights Commission for the City. He has been active on the government affairs and professional standards committees on our local association of REALTORS. Both Tommy and Robin have been involved in Rotary International for over 50 and 25 years, respectively.
