Tenth Street Capital was founded in 2005 with the goal of providing capital to companies in the lower-middle market. While its primary form of investment has been mezzanine debt and equity, it has also been active in the purchased debt market, acquiring loans from the FDIC and other lenders. To date, Tenth Street Capital has formed six funds with more than $350 million of committed capital, including Tenth Street Fund III, LP a $170 million SBIC fund focused on providing capital to growing companies in the lower-middle market. Tenth Street has offices in Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee serving its clients’ needs, helping them expand and meet their financial goals by funding growth, acquisitions, and recapitalizations.
