CAVU Aviation Finance LLC through its subsidiary, Loch Ard Otters LLC, specializes in the sale and lease of new Twin Otter 400 aircraft manufactured by Viking Air in Victoria, Canada. The Twin Otter is a highly versatile 19 passenger STOL turboprop originally designed and manufactured by deHavilland Canada. Over 800 aircraft were manufactured before deHavilland ceased production in 1987. Viking Air acquired the type certificate in 2005. As the largest launch customer, Loch Ard Otters LLC was instrumental in Viking Air's re-launch of the new Twin Otter 400 series in 2007. The program has been very successful. Viking has delivered over 50 aircraft with a backlog of over 50 aircraft on order into 2016. Loch Ard Otters is currently the only leasing company with Twin Otter 400 positions on order. CAVU Aviation Finance works closely with the manufacturer to customize and deliver aircraft to our customers' specifications. We can deliver aircraft on wheels or floats, with standard or VIP seating, and a myriad of other options. CAVU has provided Twin Otter 400s to customers in Asia, North America and Europe.
