Our purpose is to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the community by promoting the implementation of carbon reduction and renewable energy initiatives at a local and individual level within and around Hook Norton. Our key aim is to provide a legacy for future generations within Hook Norton and the wider community where energy supply and usage does not impact upon our planet and lifestyle. We run a range of community-based schemes, including the provision of solar panels and insulation work at the local school and sports and social club, individual household projects based on interest-free or low-cost loans, a community car club, community eBike hire, bio-diesel provision, an oil syndicate plus various other events and initiatives that help reduce the community impact on the environment.
