National Contact Point OECD Guidelines

The Swiss National Contact Point promotes the implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. These recommendations are aimed at companies and concern the disclosure of information, the respect of human rights, labor conditions, protection of the environment, the prevention of the corruption, consumer interests, the transfer of knowledge and technology, competition and taxation. Furthermore, it supports the application of the OECD Guidances on Due Diligence in value chains by companies. The NCP provides a platform for dialogue and mediation in cases of complaints regarding alleged violations of the OECD Guidelines. The aim is to find a future-oriented solution through mediation. The secretariat of the NCP is located at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. Code of conduct regarding contributions on this profile: comments and contributions that are unacceptable in terms of content will be deleted by the National Contact Point. This includes insulting, discriminatory, racist, sexist, unconstitutional or illegal contributions. Such comments will be removed with reference to the tone of voice. The Code of conduct demands a fair, polite and professional tone. The NCP reserves the right to close discussions and to deactivate the comment function if there is a violation of the above mentioned points.
