NPL Bluesky Automotive is a Technical JV between Nandan Petrochem Limited (NPL) and KRUSE Automotive GmbH Germany to manufacture and market AdBlue®/ Diesel Exhaust Fluid in India. As early as in 2011, when India decided to implement BS IV & BS VI in 13 cities, NPL Bluesky Automotive commissioned the AdBlue® manufacturing plant in India, thereby today a pioneer in manufacturing AdBlue® in India. Since then we have built up our capacities and have added more production facilities to cater the increasing AdBlue® demand in India. Around 8 Plants strategically placed across India and in expansion plans. Our plants produce AdBlue® meeting ISO 22241 standards. About Product : AdBlue® is a 32.5% solution of urea in deionized water and is required by many commercial vehicles operating on Europe's roads. AdBlue® is essential for the correct operation of an advanced pollution control technology installed in the exhaust system called Selective Catalytic Reduction or SCR. Unlike diesel, AdBlue® is a clear, non-toxic liquid that is safe to handle and does not damage the environment. AdBlue® is not a fuel or fuel additive.
