The “Pierre Sadek Foundation” was founded in November 7, 2013 with a mission to: • Safeguard the work of Pierre Sadek by gathering and organizing his vast output within a public archive. • Promote Sadek’s work through exhibitions, publications and scholarly research. The principles and values of social responsibility, democracy, participation and development, at light of the morals and behaviors adopted by Pierre Sadek. • Organize an annual award under the name of “Pierre Sadek Foundation”. • Initiate educational programs in collaboration with public institutions and civil society organizations for the promotion of the art of caricatures.
