VISION Anchored on the principles of social and gender justice and a society free from want, fear and discrimination, the Foundation facilitates social transformation of the north eastern region of India through people’s active involvement and enables cohesiveness, dynamism, ingenuity and creativity of communities. MISSION - Invest in, support and promote the region’s abundant human, natural, cultural and creative resources - Enable communities of the region to be owners of development processes -Promote and support rights based approaches and gender equality -Channel youth energies and potential through creative activities to bring about constructive social transformation OBJECTIVES - Strengthen the role of civil society to plan, implement and network on rights based programmes at the local, regional and national level - Advocate for policy formulation and changes, to create participatory, inclusive, transparent and accountable governance - Enhance regional learning, experience sharing and build solidarity within and outside the region - Promote leadership and new voices committed to peace, social justice and equity
