Coconut Grove started on the 15 December 1989 in a tiny shop within a big undeveloped parking lot in the Blue Lagoon. Even then, we understood the importance of location and knew that this spot had the potential to draw large foot traffic with the right offering. Over the ensuing years, Coconut Grove grew and rose to fame as a household name across South Africa. Our signature Jumbo Mutton Burger was voted as "South Africa's best Cheeseburger" by SA Magazine; we were awarded best bunny chow in Durban at the inaugural Good Food & Wine show by BBC celebrity chefs Reza Mohamed and Cyrus Todiwala. From a small family run business, Coconut Grove has evolved and grown to become synonymous with fresh tasty food that delivers a consistent taste which keeps you coming back for more.
