Marauder Film develops global high-concept franchises from inception to final production and merchandising. Formed in 2008, Bastiaan Koch leads the content creation company in partnership with the Foundry (London), Ripple Collective (NYC), The Academy of Art University (SF), The University of Nagasaki and Studio Anima (Tokyo). Bastiaan Koch got his start in the movie biz in London, working on set with Danny Boyle as a VFX artist and later VFX supervisor. Bastiaan spent eight formative years with LucasFilm: Industrial Light & Magic, creating some of the most memorable and iconic digital characters to date on movies including the Transformers, Star Wars and Marvel franchises. Bastiaan wrote & produced Hollyshorts winner: The 3rd Letter, for which his feature screenplay was nominated (Best Screenplay) at the 2012 Beverly Hills Film Festival. In February, Infinite Loop was featured in American Cinematographer, optioned by Ripple Collective (NYC) one of two properties, including Is This Heaven, Marauder is developing with a with a trans-media/franchise outlook. Bastiaan has contributed to movies making a combined pre-tax profit of $9.434 Billion dollars. Most recently, Bastiaan is working with production designer Adam Stockhausen on Steven Spielberg’s; Ready Player One (2018)
