Teenagers, cinema and boundless creativity… This is Quindici19, an international short-film contest for young adults between 15 and 19 years old. Initially created in Rome in 2014, as a scholastic project, it grew to the point where it transformed into a platform of encounter and exchange between young artists from all over the world, an indispensable experience to grow simultaneously with the industry experts and professionals. Our goal is to create a stepping stone for the youngest international talents, a window on tomorrow’s cinema, a unique platform of interaction and cultural growth. We are currently working on a Special Edition in Collaboration with UNric. Duemila30, a student short film festival focused on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations. Through the years we have worked with: - prestigious film festival such as: Giffoni Experience, Raindance Film Festival, British Film Institute Future Film, Lucca Film Festival, Capalbio Cinema, Scenecs, Roma Creative Contest - important film Institutions like: Cinecittà Studios, EYE Film Institute, Australian Center for The Moving Institute. - members of the film industry such as: Martin Strange - Hansen (Oscar winner - Director), Caterina D'Amico, Francesco Bruni. Quindici19 is not just a contest, we have organized many events with the aim to spread the culture of cinema: "Frames": a unique and innovative format for a night out that combines cinema and music. "The Oscar Night": screening of the 89th Academy Awards at Bocconi University. "Short but strong": event dedicated to short films at SCCA - Spazio Comune Cinema Aquila.
