High Impact Medicine, Hi-Med, is a new movement bringing together medical students and doctors to learn more about all the ways medics can help as many people as possible in their careers and engage with opportunities to have a wide-reaching positive impact within medicine. Being a doctor allows you to help people every day through caring for patients as well as to engage with research, influence public policy or global health and more and therefore have a wide-reaching positive impact. And there are so many different ways to have a huge impact - as a medical student as well as alongside and learning from clinical practice as a doctor. We are constantly exploring different cause areas, ideas and roles through our talks, podcast and reading group.
