BanterFlix is a Northern Irish website that brings together local people with a passion for cinema. We’re a proud member of Film Hub NI’s Community Cinema network, which has helped BanterFlix evolve from a small movie blog into a multi-platform film review website. We have a weekly TV show on Northern Vision’s NvTv Channel. Each week we review the latest releases, discuss cult classics and try to showcase the work of local filmmakers and community cinema groups. We regularly run film screenings throughout Belfast with our Dark Hedges Movie Club. Established in 2016 our aim is to explore the boundaries of the horror and Sci-Fi genres as we showcase cinema’s darker side.
