Neil The Little Explorer is an app-connected educational smart toy for children between 3 and 8 years old. He has the form of a little astronaut who is accompanied by his Planet, a docking station in the shape of a hemisphere. His mission is to introduce kids to the infinite world of knowledge by telling wikis. A wiki is an educational piece of information about the world around us and how things work told in a fun and engaging way. The more kids play with Neil, the more personalised the -initially random- wikis become (via button usage and machine learning). So while Neil helps children discover the world he also helps parents discover their children's preferences and inclinations early on. Parents can customize the wiki categories via the App and change settings as their kids grow to promote more "advanced" subjects. Through the app they can track the wikis that are being told and play quizzes with their kids. Quizzes are generated based on heard wikis. Repetition is the mother of all knowledge after all and the quiz makes for a great family activity! Neil, being the buddy that he is, also tells bedtime stories & lullabies and proposes activity suggestions.
