To ensure diversity, we accept 35 students per year – half female, half male – into 5 tracks: screenwriting, production, photography, audio, and editing. CinéFabrique offers an innovative, experimental programme in which students acquire technical, hands-on knowledge that will help them find a job after graduation. We are also the only school to offer sandwich courses for film careers. The curriculum culminates in a diploma from CinéFabrique as well as a French diplôme d’état, specifically a licence professionnelle in Video and Audio Techniques granted as part of an agreement between CinéFabrique and Université Lumière Lyon 2. CinéFabrique believes in collaboration and hands-on experience. Applied techniques are taught by leading national and international film industry professionals, while theory is taught by researchers from Lyon 2. The school employs an open, non-discriminatory selection process to ensure a highly diverse student body. The president of CinéFabrique is Philippe Vayssettes. The honorary president is filmmaker Abderrahmane Sissako. The school director is filmmaker Claude Mouriéras.
