Moinee Foundation is an NGO established in the year 2012 with an aim ‘Right to Quality Education’ achievable by breaking the barriers of access, cost, and language through techno-social innovations and interventions. Functioning in over 11 states, 22 districts, and 1860 schools with 139 e-libraries, the foundation has reformed the lives of 6,50,000 students and 11,900 teachers. Initiatives: Moinee Foundation runs Project Utkarsh wherein technology, invention and infrastructure improvement brings a qualitative change in the government schools’ education. The program has three variants: CORE: Quiz Academy enabled e-learning running in government schools that leverage the existing ICT infrastructure and human resource School-in-a-Box: The smart class initiative is enabled by Smart Knowledge Server that delivers curriculum mapped digital content to the students in their local language sans internet. Model School: A reformative tool for the government schools into model schools endowed with the playful learning environment, digital infrastructure, and enhanced teaching-learning experience through innovative intervention. For digital empowerment of rural and semi-urban communities, Offline Community e-Library delivers last-mile e-Governance solutions and digital content with no dependency on the internet viz. e-Gyankendra, Gyanganga, and e-Vidyakendra, etc. The Foundation runs Industry Alignment Programs that host various workshops and programs to bridge the gaps of the current education system and prepare employment-ready individuals. ‘The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.’ Moinee Foundation is working diligently to infuse the act of learning in those who seek knowledge and bring a holistic change in their worlds.
