During nearly 20 years BYTEC BV has helped hundreds of Engineers and Researchers by accurately identifying the Engineering constants of their materials (E1, E2, v12, G12). Most customers just send their material specimens to us, we do the tests and provide a detailed test report. We also return the materials since our tests are non-destructive. Most of our clients have testing facilities -like tensile machines and DMA- of their own, so most of their materials are in house tested for stiffness, strength and/or damping. But sometimes researchers, students or test engineers bump on materials that are exceptionally difficult to test with conventional instruments. Examples are foamed materials, package materials, very small, thin or light material specimens and many others, not suitable for gluing strain gages and/or clamping into jaws. Sometimes customers also like a very accurate result for their precious composite materials to compare with other sources. In all those cases, we solve the problem with vibration measurements!
