www.frgimnastica.comThe Romanian Gymnastics Federation is a sporting structure of national interest, the only authorised to organise, develop and control the gymnastics activity, according to the Law of Physical Education and Sports no. 69/2000. The organization has control upon the practice of gymnastics upon the territory of Romania, at all levels and by all means considered necessary. The Federation is a legal entity of private law, of public utility, autonomous, non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit and operated with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The Romanian Gymnastics Federation (RGF) was established in 1906, it is an affiliate since 1907 to the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) and since 1987 to the European Gymnastics (EG), as it is recognized by these organisations. RGF promotes equal opportunities, equal and unconditional access to the practice of gymnastics valuing the spirit of mutual respect and fair-play during trainings and competitions. It also promotes and apply measures to eliminate from the gymnastics activity any form of discrimination or any manifestations of intolerance, violence, and racism guaranteeing chances equality.
