cqm.uma.ptMadeira Chemistry Research Centre (CQM) is a national research unit launched in 2004, hosted by the University of Madeira (UMa), Madeira Island, an outermost region of Europe and supported by FCT. While having scientific and strategic autonomy, CQM is integrated into the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering (FESE), a university structure that aggregates the previous Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering, and Physics, where it plays a pivotal role in undergraduate and advanced training activities. At the end of 2017, the CQM’s team was composed of 70 researchers.
