Health Equals Freedom – Making Sense of Cancer - is a National Telehealth service and coaching service for people and their families newly diagnosed with cancer. Our founder, Dr Rachel Cameron, created an independent National Cancer Healthcare Navigation Service experienced in communicating with healthcare professionals across the country and translating complex medical information for people with cancer. We support individuals using a secure telehealth video platform, with Cancer Coaching services, as well as evidence-based online resources and tools, to empower them to navigate the confusing health system, navigate and take control of their own health recovery journey. This service aims to provide a service to any Australian that needs it. Those people in remote and regional areas and with lower medical literacy also gain access to a service that they wouldn’t otherwise to understand their treatment options through Telehealth technology.
