'gabi' means coffee in Taiwanese. Our products contain coffee extract that brings amazing skin health benefits. Coffee is an amazing ingredient containing caffeine, antioxidants, and vitamins, helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite, protect skin from UV and free radical damage, moisturize and brighten the skin, reduce inflammation, and increase circulation. We had a humble DIY beginning. When our co-founder Mandy Wu tried to find a natural exfoliating coffee scrub in Taiwan she was surprised to come up empty — she decided to make it herself. She loaded up on organic coconut oil, brown sugar, salt, and coffee grounds at Costco and created the first batch of scrub. Since there was so much of it, she put it in jars and gave it away to friends and family — this is how we got started. We have a few guiding principles. Our goal is to promote skin mindfulness and inspire women to take better care of their body's largest organ, the skin. We promise to use more natural ingredients, restrict the use of preservatives and chemicals, maintain a high standard of quality and service, and stick to our eco-friendly factory and packaging processes.
