OUR MISSION – Women International Leaders invest in underserved women globally who take the lead in becoming self-sufficient, elevating their families and communities. OUR VISION – WIL envisions a world where all women achieve a secure and sustainable future. Founded on the belief that women are a catalyst for positive, sustainable change in their communities, WIL lives its mission through: • Microfinance funding and support services, • Grants to grass-roots nonprofit and NGOs, • Educational programs on women’s economic, health or political issues, • Travel that enhances our understanding of the difficulties faced by women in these communities, • Service projects that complement WIL’s financial support. Since its inception in 2007, WIL has invested in women in regions of the world with severe need including Africa, Central America, South America and Haiti.
