CFEX (the Carbon Free Energy Cloud) is the Scope 2 decarbonization platform for enterprises. It enables enterprises worldwide to streamline their Scope 2 decarbonization operations including accounting for and tracking Scope 2 emissions, planning and simulating mitigation strategies, and automating PPA contract management and the back-office processes for Carbon Free Energy procurements. The GHG emissions from energy generation account for approximately 25% of the overall emissions, more than 60% of which is attributable to enterprises’ energy consumption in the form of their Scope 2 emissions. Scope 2 decarbonization is a major problem of our time. CFEX team has substantial expertise and experience in solving this problem, having developed similar operational data management and operation support solutions for some of the largest distribution utilities over the past decade.
