Music-Sports League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and governing body of a new form of music competition called, “Music Performance Sports” (Music-Sports). Headquartered in Newport News,VA, MSL is dedicated to the development and promotion of unsigned recording artists through the advancement of the Music-Sports program. MSL is the administrator of the Independent Artist Competition Series (IACS), the first-ever pro sports league organized music completion infrastructure. In the IACS, the rappers and singers (all-genres) are the players, and stage performance competition is their sport. The IACS includes a Combine, Draft, Preseason, Regular Season, and Playoff. The IACS also includes a career development and educational courses in Entrepreneurship, Music Business, Mentorship, and Life Skills. MSL not only wants to challenge its players’ music competitively, but also challenge them to become better businessmen and women.
