Foundation for Africa is an international development and humanitarian NGO working in DR Congo, Ethiopia and Tanzania. Established in 2002, it is implementing education development and child protection projects - building and operating schools, developing curriculum, training teachers and upgrading infrastructure. Committed to bring a change to children's life, it is supporting over 1000 children through its student and orphan support programme as well as helps feeding street children and works to promote child health and gender equality. The Foundation regularly delivers humanitarian aid containing among others medicine and medical equipments, school supply, clothes, IT and electronic devices, toys. In addition, with the aim to show the real face of Africa and the life of its people, it organises humanitarian tourism trips to DR Congo and Ethiopia, that also offer the opportunity to participate in a development/humanitarian mini-project. In Hungary, Foundation for Africa is engaged in development education and public awareness raising, by organising lectures, conferences, festivals, campaigns and Africa camp across the country.
