Passion: that for which you have boundless enthusiasm. Photography has been my passion for over 35 years. In February of 2011, I opened a photography studio in Raleigh, NC, and began my new career as an entrepreneur. People often ask me what it is about photography that excites me. It has always been easy to answer that question. “It is capturing the moment.” When shooting on location, I cannot wait to get back to my computer to download the images. Did I get the moment(s)? Sometimes the moment isn't what I expected it to be for technical or compositional reasons. Other times, my personal sense of satisfaction soars. I have just captured a moment in time that will never been seen again except through my vision. In studio, I shoot tethered directly to my computer and wait with anticipation for every image to load. Family, corporate, bridal, engagement, newborn, senior, pet, and corporate portraits, corporate events, wedding events, reunion events, sport events – all have moments that will be lost forever, unless I capture them. My studio and gallery is approximately 900 sq ft with room for my studio equipment and props. It includes a changing room immediately adjacent to the studio area.
