Pueblo, a values-driven social enterprise, is a participatory planning and design firm that provides professional services to government agencies, affordable housing developers, and community-based organizations (CBOs). As a social enterprise, our work with agencies subsidizes our work with CBOs so that we can provide low-cost technical support for community-driven plans, projects, and policy development. We focus our planning and design services on transit corridors, active transportation, parks and open space, and sustainability projects. We also assist in the development of advocacy campaigns, storytelling projects, public policy research, and provide technical assistance. Our work is rooted in a simple principle: The voices of residents should be respected as experts, and they should dictate the design of their community.
