Mooroolbark College is proud of its achievements and its strong student focus. The skill of the staff and the size of the College enables a breadth of curriculum to meet the needs of our community. This includes numerous pathways at the senior level including VET and VCAL, VCE and School Based Apprenticeships. During 2008/09 the College undertook an extensive review process. This involved an in depth analysis of school based data as well as educational research. The results of the review formed the basis for the 2010 to 2013 strategic plan. Our ongoing aim is to ensure that all students are able to achieve their potential. Our focus will be on the following: continue to develop an e-rich environment that results in improved school effectiveness; strong focus on literacy and numeracy; implement a curriculum that equips our students with knowledge, skills and behaviours that will prepare them for school and beyond; improve student learning outcomes with the introduction of E5 Instructional Model.; continued focus on transition for students at all levels; And continued focus on improving student engagement and their wellbeing.
