Since 1965, Literacy Services of Wisconsin (LSW) has provided high quality adult education to the Greater Milwaukee area. Our core programs of basic reading, General Educational Development (GED) preparation, and English Language Learning (ELL) exemplify our belief that every person has a right to a good education. Our unique service delivery model of one-on-one tutoring offers students individualized assistance and produces decisively positive outcomes. Nearly 400 talented volunteer tutors provide more than 22,000 hours of one-on-one instruction each year, making our work possible.
