Hope Foundation is a German and Cameroonian non-profit and non-governmental organization with primary goals of promoting sustainable development and alleviating poverty in Cameroon and Africa. Activities involve; providing communities with non-formal education and training opportunities; educating and empowering disadvantaged local communities, providing water and sanitation facilities to various communities, fighting and raising awareness about various illnesses, enhancing infrastructural facilities such as building schools, promoting the rights of minority groups such as pygmies and enhancing leadership initiatives and civic responsibilities. Its projects span across various fields including education, health, child care, human rights, environment, women’s empowerment as well as provide assistance to discriminated and disadvantaged community groups such as people with disabilities, street children and orphans.
