Singapore Actuarial Society
www.actuaries.org.sgSingapore Actuarial Society (SAS) was formed in 1976. At that time the profession was little known in Singapore and there were only a handful of qualified actuaries. Today, after 40+ years of growth and development, SAS has more than 1,000 members, including over 400 Fellows. Because SAS is not an examining body, our fellows mainly qualify first at one of the five actuarial bodies that is recognized by the Singapore regulator - IFoA, SOA, CAS, IAA, and CIA. SAS is the recognized representative body of the actuarial profession in Singapore and has the final authority in setting professional standards in Singapore. SAS is also a full member of the International Actuarial Association.
