Founder and Designer Christen Maxwell’s philosophy is to “design timeless, well-made objects that transform houses into homes.” Using only the purest materials, timeless designs and a sophisticated palette, every product added to the collection builds upon the lifestyle brand set forth, creating livable, modern objects fit for any habitat. The daughter of merchants, Maxwell found her passion for home products while raised in her parents’ housewares store in New England. She furthered her education in art and design, receiving a BFA in Product Design from Parsons The New School for Design. As a Product Design and Retail Development Consultant, Maxwell has been a buyer, visual merchandiser and designer for industry leaders. Christen Maxwell launched her first private collection in the summer of 2010. At Christen Maxwell, we not only design finished products, we design manufacturing methods to ensure our goods are created to our standards. Synthesizing state-of-the-art mass-production and Old World handmade traditions, products are sourced and sold globally.
