The FKTG e.V. (Fernseh- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft) is one of the oldest German technical societies. Founded in 1920, the FKTG aims to bring all people working in the media industry together. It is the German counterpart to the SMPTE in the US. The FKTG is a non-profit organisation supporting education, networking and information exchange between people working in broadcasting & information technology, cinema technology and media industry.
