www.thecairoreview.com

The Cairo Review of Global Affairs is the quarterly journal of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Its primary aim is to be a focal point for policymakers, officials, academics, experts, journalists, students, and others in the Middle East region who follow global affairs. It is also intended to be a platform that gives perspectives from the region a greater voice in international policy conversations and debates. The Cairo Review is overseen by a 15-member editorial board consisting of distinguished local and international figures from the fields of diplomacy, public policy, and media. It is also guided by a ten-member GAPP advisory group. AUC, founded in 1919, is the Middle East’s leading English-language university and has long been a center of social, political, and cultural life in Egypt and the Arab World. AUC is devoted to preparing its students to be global citizens, addressing the challenges facing the region and the world. GAPP is the first school in the Arab World devoted to training future generations of policymakers. GAPP consists of the departments of Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Policy and Administration, and Law; and research and training centers focused on Middle East studies, American studies, women and gender studies, migration and refugee studies, and television and digital media training.
