Isavia ANS is the air navigation service provider of the Reykjavik control area that is the size of 5,4 million square kilometers, which makes it one of the largest in the world. Isavia ANS provides safe, efficient and environmentally friendly air navigation service for civil and military aviation across the North Atlantic Ocean. Isavia ANS participates extensively in international collaboration, such as NAT SPG, Borealis Alliance to name a few. Isavia ANS is at the forefront of keeping abreast of the rapid technological progress and developments in air navigation. An example of this is the surveillance corridor across the North Atlantic in our control area.
