The Chapter One Young Writers Conference is just what it sounds like: a writer’s conference for and by young writers. Founded in 2012, the first conference took place in Chicago with six teenagers in attendance in person and countless others attending via an online live stream. Since then, it has grown exponentially, allowing writers from all over the country to come and attend events, panels, and workshops at the conference.
