The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir has been established through an Act No. XVIII of 2005 dated: 07th November 2005. The guiding philosophy of the Islamic University of Science and Technology is to be a garden for dialogue. The University strives to create an environment of learning where students can develop, cultivate and support an academic culture that values interdisciplinary learning and inculcates social awareness at multiple levels, from local to regional and global.
