Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is a municipality-owned electric and water utility serving approximately 17,800 accounts in the City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Utility employs approximately 85 full time employees. The Utility is directed by a General Manager, who in turn reports to the Public Utility Commission. This Commission is comprised of seven members: The Mayor of Manitowoc A member of the Licensing, Permits & Inspections Committee And five appointed citizens OUR MISSION: MPU is committed to be the trusted primary resource for providing customer-focused utility services.
