The Australia Mongolia Business Council is a body aimed at promoting the mutual business interests of Mongolia and Australia. The Australia Mongolia Business Council is established as a company limited by guarantee. It is a membership-based, not-for-profit organisation founded to: (a) promote business opportunities in Mongolia to Australian businesses so as to develop Australia's economic presence in Mongolia; (b) enhance economic cooperation and growth and the reduction of barriers to trade and international investment between Australian and Mongolia; (c) facilitate cultural exchange between the Australian and Mongolian business communities so as to increase mutual understanding and economic development; (d) assist cooperation and sharing of knowledge and experience between Australian and Mongolian business enterprises so as to develop industry and commerce in Australia and Australia's standing in the international market; and (e) provide Australian businesses with information on doing business in Mongolia, including information about Mongolian business laws, customs and culture.
