The Flint Public Library's mission is to be Flint's "go to" place to learn for life. FPL serves residents of the City of Flint, Michigan through a Main Library located in the beautiful Flint Cultural Center. The Library's key service priorities apart from its core services are Family Literacy, Digital Literacy and Encouraging Interaction in a Community Space. The Library is a key partner in the Flint and Genesee Literacy Network, a network of service providers aiming to achieve community-wide results: (1) children enter school ready to learn, (2) children are succeeding in school, (3) people are prepared for and succeeding in post-secondary education, and (4) people are gainfully employed at a living wage.
