The Columbia Journal of Transnational Law is a law review edited and published by students at Columbia Law School. Founded in 1961, CJTL primarily features scholarly articles and student notes on issues of transnational law. Over the years, CJTL has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal appellate and trial courts throughout the country. CJTL articles and notes are frequently listed as suggested reading in casebooks and law review articles on topics of transnational law. Today, subscribers in more than sixty countries receive the Journal. Subscribers include large university libraries in the United States and across the globe, major international law firms, foreign governments, and several organizations affiliated with the United Nations.
