Neurorehabilitation is often not an accessible, engaging and motivating activity to go through and keep up with. Stroke patients and people with limited mobility in upper limbs for example often cannot engage with physical objects during their rehab due to lack of strength which slows down their recovery process and this can be very demoralising. It is important to offer people access to effective neurorehabilitation programmes and to keep people engaged as this is key in their recovery process, and to prevent people from becoming demoralised by their condition. Immersive Rehab creates personalised digital therapeutics neurorehabilitation programmes in virtual reality with the aim to improve patient recovery. The goal is to enhance the overall effectiveness of neurorehabilitation and improve patient outcomes. — Immersive Rehab was one of the 12 startups in the autumn 2016 cohort of the 12-week Bethnal Green Ventures Tech For Good accelerator programme. Immersive Rehab was one of the startups in the spring 2017 cohort of the 10-week Augmentor programme run by Digital Catapult and Seedcamp.
