Homestead Country Club sits on approximately 8 acres of land donated by J.C. Nichols. Mr. Nichols donated the property in 1952 in order to form a neighborhood recreational club, and in 1953 the main clubhouse was opened. Homestead is a not-for-profit corporation that has established itself as the finest family oriented club in Kansas City. It offers a casual, laid back atmosphere for some of the best tennis, aquatics, fitness, social, dining and platform tennis in the city.
