My handmade ceramics are designed to surprise, and delight. My work is conceptually guided by an interest in discovering artistic value in the things most people, myself included, would normally disregard or overlook – for example, a crumpled piece of paper, which inspired the Paper Series. In my production process, I strive for the highest possible quality, craftsmanship, functionality and attention to detail, and I aim to achieve this efficiently.
