Humble Grape

www.humblegrape.co.uk

Whether you’re an ABC, simply red fan, or crisp whites only, Humble Grape is not here to tell you how to enjoy your wine, or pass judgement on your personal preferences, after all, every palette is different. But what we are big believers in is, the more you taste, the more you know. And this philosophy, along with a passion for sustainability, is how Humble Grape burst into being. Our shelves (in-store and virtual thanks to our online shop) are stacked with 400 sustainable wines imported directly from our cherished “Hero Producers”, many on an exclusive basis so cannot be found anywhere else in the UK. Not all heroes wear capes…some press grapes. And these independent winemakers from small-production, family-run, organic vineyards around the world champion biodynamic, organic and / or sustainable winemaking. These boutique producers are the heart of the Humble Grape family. They visit the venues to train the Humble Grape team face-to-face, building a mutual respect and rapport and passing on their enthusiasm and love for their product. Spread across London, each Humble Grape venue in Battersea, Fleet Street, Liverpool Street, Islington and Canary Wharf has its own distinct personality and encapsulates all the things your local wine bar should be. Relaxed, understated and, crucially, run by people who don’t simply know their stuff, but are wine enthusiasts who embrace the opportunity to share their knowledge, make recommendations and showcase the beauty in each bottle.
