The Joint Support Office (JSO) for the management of the EU nuclear safety programme in Ukraine, is a programme management office established by the European Commission, and operated by Enconet Consulting Ges.m.b.H (ENCO), since December 2004. The JSO provides expert support in the planning, management, and oversight of projects implemented in the frame of the EU Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC) and from 2021 the European Instrument for Nuclear Safety (EINS). Working in direct cooperation with its principal and key stakeholders, the JSO supports the definition, planning and implementation of both the INSC and EINS Programmes. Considering the wider aspects of developments within the Ukrainian nuclear sector, the JSO plays an instrumental role in achieving programme objectives.
