Craft Micro Brewery located in Dripping Springs, Texas Mexican Style Craft Beer made in Texas with a twist that we call - Tex Mex Beer (R) Jim Sampson had been brewing beer since the late 90s and started thinking about taking his brewing passion to the next level and turning it into a business. In early 2009, Shane Bordeau started spending time brewing with Jim and became actively involved in the new business concept. They both shared the vision of Mexican style beers brewed in Texas by Texans. They knew they wanted to be the first to market with Tex Mex beer. Jim and Shane bought an initial 10 gallon pilot system in September of 2009 and started testing recipes. This system allowed for consistent production and testing of various recipes on a larger scale and the first few recipes were born! In early 2012 Ted Stewart came on board as an equal partner and helped to build the expanded brewery including a tasting room in November 2013. An additional expansion within the brewery is scheduled for June 2014 that will increase production capability substantially.
